Describe yourself in three words.
To describe myself in just three words?? It’s too hard, but may be these three words would suit me well.
Tell us about your Dubsmash videos. When did it start?
I can’t remember when I started but I think it is about a year. Initially I posted it on Facebook; the response was good. I found it entertaining for myself and for the people around me, I continued doing it! When I started posting it on Instagram, I found that few of my videos have gone very viral! I was overwhelmed with happiness.
How is the response so far for your Dubsmash videos?
As Dubsmash was much trending at the time I started, there was a good reach in all the social media platforms including YouTube, with both good and bad comments. Many people have recognized me in public and some have requested for some clicks and selfies. I am very happy about it.
How do you handle negative comments for your Dubsmash videos?
Yeah, there will always be a seed in a fruit, where few are edible and few aren’t! Eat the edibles and sow the rest to take the next yield. However the seed is; it will always help a plant to grow. I believe in optimism and I’m pretty sure to imbibe neither of the comments to the mind as this is not my profession.
How much time do you spend in creating Dubsmash videos?
It depends upon the dialogue. I strongly listen to the dialogues standing in front of the mirror to check out the angle and what sort of expressions would suit my face well and if it is gonna be a comedy/spicy/hot/sad/song sort of dialogue, most probably I shoot it in single take!
On the other hand, if it is gonna be a dialogue where I should coy for the sweet scenes; the count of the take goes on until I feel it to be impeccable! I keep being very choosy on the dialogues so that I could avoid receiving duets from the unknown people.
Do you know who invented Dubsmash?
Seriously I haven’t made researches on it! I googled for this question. And I came to know that Jonas Druppel, Ronald Grenke and Daniel Taschik are the founders!
Who are the actors you most admire?
On the basis of acting I always admire the acting of Nagesh, Kamal Haasan, Vikram, Padmini, Manoramma, Jyothika and Anushka Shetty.
I am a fan of Ajith kumar and I’ve gone much crazy on actor Arya lately.
What are your future plans?
I am an Engineer and am planning to start doing MBA by this year. I love being an Entrepreneur so I prefer sticking on to a business in future.
Do you have any plans for any short/feature films locally and internationally?
