We can see his passion and desire to achieve in the short film. LaysaLaysa.com would like to take this opportunity to wish him all the best. Let’s hear what he got to say in this exclusive interview.
Tell us about yourself and about your acting passion.
I’m Harry, an upcoming Model and Actor. Born and Brought up in Chennai. As Multifaceted, I graduated as a mechanical Engineer but started my career in one of the Top most IT industry as a SAP consultant. I wanted my passion and profession to be in the same path. Indeed I am constantly working towards the goal with endurance. Apart from the things you knew already, I am freestyle dancer, a host (Emcee) and Orator. My hobbies are to collect new clothing trends which includes a trendy wardrobe which includes designer shades and shoes.
Acting Passion: Acting has been a big part of my life, ever since I was eight. Everyone’s acting career starts in school. We learn to act in everyday life. I watch different kinds of Movies and English series which inspired me to become a model and actor. As an actor, you will be able to embody different personalities and interpret them in your own way through acting. This allows me to be more understanding and emphatic to the people who come across in my everyday life.
How have you prepared to become an actor?
Unquestionably it would be yes, I put together lot of efforts to be an actor and a model. The acting certainly will give me more confidence and creativity in everything I do. After we perform, I would love the feeling of excitement and the rush of nerves. It will get me pumped up and I perform the best I can.
What is your inspiration to become a model?
Pictures can be very powerful. It can be for entertainment and comedy but it can also be used to inspire people.
That is my ultimate goal. I need to inspire people. I cannot do that as a common man. But as an Model/Actor, people would listen and get inspired. They will also be motivated to achieve what an Model/Actor has achieved in the screen. There is always something you can add to your performance and you can discover something new about your character always.
How do you keep healthy and fit for modelling?
WORKOUT and DIET amalgamation is the key to healthy life. It takes a degree of obsession to get fit.
WORKOUT: Best thing about being fit is “Money can never buy Fitness”. You have to work hard and constantly push yourself to the limits, There will be NO LIMIT. The sweat, pain and dedication will definitely pay the result. I am doing that. I have trainers who pushes me to achieve the weights I can’t lift yesterday.
DIET: “Food should be fuel, Not therapy”
Diet doesn’t mean eat less, It means eat healthy things at the right time. I consume 8 eggs a day (white yolk) along with wheat bread+Peanut butter. I consume lot of Protein (Chicken, Dry fruits etc). I avoid junk foods. If you eat junk foods, my suggestion – burn the calories through workout.
How is your acting career unfolding?
Acting is the key to inspire people. To inspire them, We need to choose peerless projects that will lead us in the right path. The career will transpire for us at the right time. Let it be Modelling/Acting, I am choosing the right projects. I am currently pursuing for the new films in Tamil industry. I also acted in two short films, one got released as a teaser named “Raaga”. I am working on a album trailer for the promotion of a book which is yet to be released. The movie poster is posted in many blogs. We have a team and we are working on something big, Opening a Youtube channel which will bring a new wave of Realistic and Hilarious videos to make people laugh and think. He rejects her proposal by saying “I did not compose this music for you”. Later find the twist in the Tale.

Raaga was a different and wonderful experience. The cinematographer is the popular G.P Krishnan and was directed by Hari (GPK’s assistant). The short film was shot day and night in different locations and the music was composed by Vinodh. The film does not carry dialogues but the music does. The movie was released as a part of Movie Buff contest.
I played as a Violinist hence I had 5 hour session to learn and play Violin. Music is an art. I realised at that point.
What has been your personal key to success?
Failure has been my personal key to success. Every failure is a lesson. If you are not willing to fail. You are not ready to succeed. Failures wont define you, It will teach you all other key points for success. Apart from failure there is also few elements which leads to success.
1. Direction – The reason you want to achieve your goal and the method to do it.
2. Desire – The burning aspiration in your gut, you need to have the answer for “WHY”
3. Determination – Mentally prepare to face many “OBSTACLES”.
4. Perseverance – You can and You will (Despite everything, Just go-on)
And at last Self-Esteem – No Matter what, Believe you can do it, Believe you deserve it, Believe you will get it
Who are the actors you most admire?
There are lots of actors whom I admire, Below are the people I follow and admire.
1. Denzel Washington – Do what you have to do, To do what you want to do.
2. Gerard Butler – Whatever he does, Gerard does with passion and fervor, and he often goes to extremes.
3. Morgan Freeman- Never let pride be your guiding principle, Let your accomplishments speak for you.
4. Tom Cruise- When you have to cope with a lot of problems, You are either going to sink or you are going to swim.
At last my personal favorite is Vijay (Kollywood) – There may be 1000 reasons for failure but for success failures are the only reason. I believe and follow what these people said.
What do you consider most challenging about acting or modelling?
1. As an actor, you are the instrument, and it’s easy to take things personally. Don’t. It’s not all about you.
2. You can’t please all of the people all of the time. You’ll win some roles and be passed over for others.
3. If you don’t set realistic expectations, the more disappointed you’ll be.
4. No one will bestow a career upon you, You must create a platform for yourself.
5. After auditions, When an actor/Model doesn’t get a part he thinks he wasn’t talented enough, good looking enough, personable enough, or likeable enough. That’s wrong.
6. Always be updated and Modernized.
At last, challenging factor is to follow and keep up with new trends, Never lose your day to day diet and workout formula. Take care of your skin and body. Body is the temple and always keep on developing your acting/modelling skills.
What were some of your favourite experiences as an actor or model?
Modelling: When I wanted to be a model, No photographer was ready to click pics of me cause I wasn’t popular. But I had my bestie, He owned a Sony cyber shot camera and he clicked my first picture.
After becoming a Model, There was a moment where one of the famous photographer said, You are gonna be a super Model. You have the best photogenic face which was the same photographer who said I photograph only Super models not freshers. Happy moment.
Acting: I acted in three short films, First two were so bad even I couldn’t watch my acting. Third one had a great team, It was done by professionals. I can say I gave my best. The Famous cinematography Guru G.P.Krishna said you are brilliant and you will achieve great heights. Those words mean a lot to me.
